The Commission notes the apparent failure of the licensee to comply with the Radio Regulations, 1986 concerning the provision of logger tapes. |
||

The Commission also notes the apparent failure of the licensee to comply with the Radio Regulations, 1986 concerning the broadcast of French-language vocal music. |
||
|
The Commission received, during the licence term, several complaints raising a number of concerns which will be discussed with the licensee at the public hearing. The Commission also intends to discuss at the hearing the content of the station's spoken-word programming with regards to the high standard objective stipulated in the Broadcasting Act. |
||
|
The Commission expects the licensee to show cause at this hearing why a mandatory order requiring the licensee to comply with the Radio Regulations, 1986, should not be issued. |

The licensee proposes to amend its licence in order to add a transmitter at Carleton to offer the programming of CFTF-TV Rivière-du-Loup (an affiliate of the TQS network). |

The transmitter will operate on channel 44 with a transmitter power of 50,400 watts. |
||
|
This retransmitter will allow the population from the Peninsula of Gaspé as well as the Acadian population of the Baie des Chaleurs to receive CFTF-TV Rivière-du-Loup (affiliated to TQS network) programming without having to subscribe to a distribution system. |
||
|
The licensee promises to increase to 30 minutes per week the current level of local original programming. |
