Re: CHUM Limited's Conventional Television Renewals: Applications 2001-1321-7 / 2001-1322-5 / 2001-1323-3 / 2001-1324-1 / 2001-1325-9 / 2001-1326-7 / 2001-1327-5
Mr. Miller:
In CHUM Limited's (CHUM) renewal applications, noted above, and in the deficiency responses filed with the Commission in a letter dated 18 January 2002, commitments were made that are contingent on the outcome of the 3 December 2001 licensing proceeding. In light of the recent release of New television station for Toronto/Hamilton, Broadcasting Decision CRTC 2002-81, 8 April 2002, please advise the Commission as to how this decision affects your television programming undertaking renewal applications, including your specific commitments for the various contingent elements and, if appropriate, your financial projections for each station and for the group of stations as a whole. If you file revised financial projections, please provide an explanation in each instance where the revised projections differ from those originally submitted.
CHUM is required to file such confirmation with the Commission no later than 15 April 2002.
Yours sincerely,
Nick Ketchum
