4. New TIFs
a) The Emergency Services Working Group (ESWG) submitted the following TIFs for approval:
i) Update the Trunk-side Interconnection Guidelines Document (ESTF0070.pdf - 31KB)
ii) Evaluation of the VoIP Solutions Inc. – Proposed Emergency Information Informer (ELI) Methodology (ESTF0071.pdf - 33KB)
b) The Canadian Steering Committee on Numbering (CSCN) submitted the following TIF for approval:
i) The CSCN will discuss matters related to the development of address look up systems necessary for IP voice network interconnection (CNTF085A.doc - 79KB)
c) The Network Working Group (NTWG) submitted the following TIFs for approval:
i) Develop a methodology for identifying calls to ensure that only end-to-end IP calls are routed over the IP voice network interconnections (NTTF028DRAFT.doc - 49KB)
ii) Develop test plans for signalling protocols between network components to address technical issues such as call flow, quality of service, and security and b) Develop questionnaires that could be used to obtain pertinent information about IP voice network interconnection trials (NTTF029DRAFT.doc - 49KB)
iii) Review and update existing IP voice network interconnection guidelines and technical specifications, as well as existing technical operational process documents, as required in relation to all allowable call types and features interworkings; b) Monitor the evolution of IP voice network interconnection standards and update them accordingly over time; and c) Develop a new IP voice network interconnection architecture for 9-1-1 emergency services (NTTF030Draft.doc - 74KB)
d) The Business Process Working Group (BPWG) submitted the following TIF for approval
i) Review all BPWG agreements, guidelines and other related documents and update accordingly to comply with Telecom Regulatory Policy CRTC 2011-512 (BPTF0085.doc - 34KB)
