The Commission has received the following application:

Application (890982200) by CHUM LIMITED to amend the licence to carry on the broadcasting transmitting undertaking for CHTX-AM Montréal, by changing the frequency from 980 to 990 kHz, by increasing the transmitter power from 10,000 to 50,000 watts and by moving the antenna proximately 11 kilometers south-westerly from the actual site.

The applicant sates that these changes will result in an improvement of service to listeners in its principal coverage area as well as an increase of its original coverage area.
