Application (901851600) by FUNDY CABLE LTD./LTÉE, to amend the licence to carry on the broadcasting receiving undertaking serving Chatham/Newcastle and surrounding areas, by adding a condition of licence allowing the licensee to distribute, at its option, the programming service of CFJP-TV (TQS) Montréal, Quebec, as part of the basic service.

Application (901833400) by LE RÉSEAU DES SPORTS (RDS) to amend the condition of licence requiring the licensee to charge the following wholesale rate per subscriber, per month, to each cable operator wishing to provide Le Réseau des Sports on the basic service:
$1.10 from 01/09/90 to 31/08/91; and
$1.15 from 01/09/91 to 31/08/92.
Further to agreements between the applicant (Le Réseau des Sports (RDS)), The Sports Network (TSN) and Maclean Hunter Cable TV (Ottawa) Limited, it is proposed to eliminate the wholesale rate which should normally be charged to Maclean Hunter Cable TV (Ottawa) Limited for Hawkesbury, Ontario and replace it with the following combined wholesale rate for TSN and RDS, per subscriber, per month:
$1.40 from 01/09/90 to 31/08/91; and
$1.50 from 01/09/91 to 31/08/92.

The applicant states that this increase in power will not significantly change the coverage area of the station. The objectives of this change are "to improve the service provided in Guelph and vicinity".

The applicant indicates that these changes will improve its service in the Grande Prairie area, and should have a minimal effect on other radio stations in the area.
