Public Notice CRTC 1991-20
The Commission has received the following application:
1. MOUNT PEARL, Newfoundland
Application (901901900) by SEVENTH-DAY ADVENTIST CHURCH IN NEWFOUNDLAND AND LABRADOR, P.O. Box 2520, Mount Pearl, Newfoundland, A1N 4N7, to amend the licence to carry on the broadcasting transmitting undertaking for VOAR Mount Pearl as follows:
- by changing the frequency from 1230 kHz to 1210 kHz:
- by increasing the transmitter power from 100 to 10,000 watts; and
- by changing the transmitter location from the temporary transmitter site located at VOCM Radio Newfoundland Limited's transmitter site to a site 3.4 kilometers westward.
The applicant states that these changes will recover the original audience with an improved signal to all of metropolitan St. John's.
