Network licence renewal
Following Public Notice CRTC 1995-38 dated 2 March 1995, the Commission renews the licence for the English-language radio network established for the purpose of broadcasting the hockey games of the Calgary Flames for the hockey seasons from 1995-96 to 1999-2000.
The Commission will issue a radio network licence expiring at the end of the 2000 hockey season, subject to the conditions in effect under the current licence, as well as to those conditions specified in the licence to be issued.
Affiliates of the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation carrying broadcasts of the games must ensure that their network affiliation agreements are respected, and that any rescheduling of CBC programs affected by the broadcasts in question is acceptable to the Corporation.
