Addition of Global's signal and CITY-TV
Following Public Notice CRTC 1995-120 dated 18 July 1995, the Commission approves the application for authority to distribute, at the licensee's option, the Global Communications Limited signal, CIII-TV, received via satellite, and CITY-TV (IND) Toronto, received via satellite from CANCOM, as part of the basic service of the undertaking serving the above-mentioned localities.
The Commission is satisfied that the distribution of these signals is in line with the guidelines on the cable distribution of distant Canadian television signals first set out in Public Notice CRTC 1985-61 and reiterated in Public Notice CRTC 1993-74.
