Decision

Ottawa, 8 November 1995
Decision CRTC 95-831
Rogers Programming Services Inc.
Across Canada - 951624600
Acquisition of assets
Following a Public Hearing held in Yellowknife on 18 September 1995, the Commission approves the application for authority to acquire the interest held by CFCN Productions Limited in the MH Radio/Rawlco Partnership. The current partners (CFCN Productions Limited and 566684 Alberta Ltd.) are licensed to operate the specialty programming undertaking known as the New Country Network (NCN).
The Commission notes that this transaction represents an intra-corporate reorganization within the Rogers Broadcasting Limited group that does not alter the effective control of NCN.
Allan J. Darling
Secretary General
