IN THE MATTER OF an application by the Association des compagnies de téléphone du Québec (ACTQ) dated 19 January 1995, on behalf of La Corporation de Téléphone de la Baie, La Cie de Téléphone de Courcelles Inc., La Compagnie de Téléphone de Lambton Inc., Téléphone Milot Inc., la Compagnie Téléphone Nantes Inc., Sogetel Inc., Le Téléphone de St-Éphrem Inc., Le Téléphone de St-Liboire de Bagot Inc., La Compagnie de Téléphone de St-Victor, La Compagnie de Téléphone Upton Inc., la Co-op de téléphone de Valcourt and La Compagnie de Téléphone de Warwick.
WHEREAS the Régie des télécommunications du Québec (the Régie), issued a decision on 8 July 1993, setting, for 1993, a maximum rate of return on average common equity (ROE) of 13% for the companies named above;
WHEREAS the ACTQ on behalf of these companies has requested that the Commission renew this maximum ROE rate of 13% for 1994; and
WHEREAS, should the Commission ratify the Régie decision wherein the maximum ROE of 13% was approved, that maximum ROE remains in effect until subsequently changed by the Commission -
IT IS ORDERED THAT:
1. The Régie decision dated 8 July 1993 fixing a maximum ROE of 13% for 1993 for the companies named above is hereby ratified.
2. The actual 1994 ROEs of each of the companies named above be reported to the Commission by 31 March 1995, as well as the amount, if any, by which each company exceeded the maximum ROE rate of 13% for the year with supporting calculations.
