1.  LAMALINE AND ST. JOHN'S, Newfoundland
Application (199607363) by the CANADIAN BROADCASTING CORPORATION to amend the broadcasting licence of the (television) programming undertaking CBNT St. John's, by changing the power of its transmitter CBNT-35 Lamaline, from an effective radiated power of 6,420 watts to a transmitter power of 100 watts.
The applicant indicates that the change would not affect the service to the population in the area.

Application (199611083) by TRANSVISION PLUS INC., P.O. Box 10,000, Granby, Quebec, J2G 9H7, to extend to 1st February 1997, the implementation deadline for the extension to serve the area located north of Granby, including the Municipality of Saint-Valérien-de-Milton.

3.  RIMOUSKI (ZONE 1), MATANE (ZONE 2), MONT-JOLI (ZONE 3), AMQUI (ZONE 4) AND SAINTE-ANNE-DES-MONTS (ZONE 5), Quebec
Application (199609591) by COGÉCO CÂBLE CANADA INC. to amend the broadcasting licence of the (cable) distribution undertaking serving the above-mentioned localities, by relieving the licensee from the requirement that it distribute on an unrestricted audio channel the programming services of the local AM stations, the local FM stations, and of at least one French-language AM station or FM station, and at least one English-language station owned and operated by the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, pursuant to section 16 of the Cable Television Regulations, 1986. This request is only for zones 4 (Amqui) and 5 (Sainte-Anne-des-Monts). The licensee does not distribute audio signals in these zones.
