LES ESCOUMINS, RIVIÈRE-DU-LOUP AND TROIS-PISTOLES, Quebec
On 13 February 1996, the Commission released Public Notice 1996-19 announcing the application (952048700) by RADIO ESSIPIT HAUTE CÔTE-NORD to relieve the licensee of the (radio) programming undertaking CHME-FM Les Escoumins, of its commitment not to solicit or sell advertising on the south shore of the St. Lawrence River.
As the application was solely published in a newspaper of general circulation on the north shore of the River and the applicant did not make the application available for examination at the Town Hall of the Town of Trois-Pistoles as stipulated in Public Notice 1996-19, the Commission announces that it is republishing the said application to enable interested parties to take note thereof and to intervene if they see fit.
Accordingly, the deadline for filing interventions concerning this application only will be:
