STENTOR RESOURCE CENTRE INC. - INTRODUCTION OF A CHARGE FOR INTERNATIONAL DIRECTORY ASSISTANCE
Reference: Tariff Notice 235
 The Commission has received an application from Stentor Resource Centre Inc. (Stentor), dated 11 December 1995, on behalf of AGT Limited, BC TEL, Bell Canada and MTS NetCom Inc. providing for the introduction of a $3.00 charge for International Directory Assistance that would allow customers to request up to two overseas telephone numbers provided that they are both from the same international operator at the same time.
 Procedure
 1. Stentor's application may be examined at the offices of the CRTC in the following locations:

 2. A copy of Stentor's application may be obtained by any interested person upon request directed to Mrs. Catherine R. Cooper, Director - Tariffs, Stentor Resource Centre Inc., Document Control & Distribution Centre, Floor 22, 160 Elgin Street, Ottawa, Ontario, K1G 3J4, fax: (613) 781-3514.
 3. Persons wishing to comment on the application may do so by writing to Mr. Allan J. Darling, Secretary General, CRTC, Ottawa, Ontario, K1A 0N2, fax: (819) 953-0795 by 15 March 1996. Copies of any comments are to be served on Stentor at the address noted above by the same date.
 4. In addition to hard copy filings, parties are encouraged to file with the Commission electronic versions of their submissions in accordance with the Commission's Interim Telecom Guidelines for the Handling of Machine-Readable Files, dated 30 November 1995. The Commission's Internet email address for electronically filed documents is public.telecom@crtc.x400.gc.ca.  5. In light of the comment period specified in this Public Notice, the Commission expects to issue a ruling with respect to Stentor's application in the second quarter of 1996.
