Ottawa, 9 July 1997
Decision CRTC 97-303
Canadian Broadcasting Corporation
Kirkland Lake, Ontario - 199612312
Licence amendment for CBCS-FM
1. Following Public Notice CRTC 1997-61 dated 16 May 1997, the Commission approves the application to amend the broadcasting licence for the radio programming undertaking CBCS-FM Sudbury, the originating station, by including the authority for CBCR-FM, the transmitter at Kirkland Lake for which the CBC holds a separate licence.
2. This amendment will bring this licence into conformity with the Broadcasting Act and with Public Notice CRTC 1991-63 entitled New Broadcasting Act - Amendments to Classes of Licence. It will take effect upon expiry of the separate licence currently issued for CBCR-FM, that is 31 August 1997.
This decision is to be appended to the licence.
