Decision

Ottawa, 17 December 1997
Decision CRTC 97-675
Canadian Broadcasting Corporation
Saskatoon and Stanley Mission, Saskatchewan - 199705977
Increase in power for CBKST-4
1. Following Public Notice CRTC 1997-129 dated 17 October 1997, the Commission approves the application to amend the broadcasting licence for CBKST Saskatoon, the originating station, by increasing the effective radiated power of the transmitter, CBKST-4 Stanley Mission, from 333 watts to 446 watts.
2. The CBC stated that this increase in power will improve CBKST-4's signal towards Missinipe, a small community of some 40 people located 25 kilometres northwest of Stanley Mission.
3. The Commission hereby authorizes the licensee to operate the undertaking on the basis of the contours and particulars resulting from the above-mentioned changes.
This decision is to be appended to the licence.
