Further to its Notice of Public Hearing CRTC 1997-11 dated 8 October 1997 relating to its public hearing commencing on 15 December 1997, at the Commission Headquarters, 1 Promenade du Portage, Hull, Quebec, the Commission announces the following:
THE FOLLOWING ITEM IS WITHDRAW FROM THE PUBLIC HEARING AND WILL BE RESCHEDULED ON THE AGENDA OF A FUTURE PUBLIC HEARING
ISSUE NO. 1 - ITEM 2
GRAND FALLS, New Brunswick
Application (199701207) by CARLETON-VICTORIA BROADCASTING CO. LTD., P.O. Box 920, Woodstock, New Brunswick, E0J 2B0, for a broadcasting licence to carry on an English-language FM (radio) programming undertaking at Grand Falls, operating on a frequency of 93.5 MHz (channel 228A) with an effective radiated power of 5,300 watts.
The licensee proposes to rebroadcast the programming produced by CJCJ Woodstock except for 2:30 hour per broadcast week of advertising broadcast exclusively in Grand Falls.
