On 8 July 1997, NewTel Communications Inc. filed an application for approval of tariff revisions to its General Tariff Item 370.24, Voice Information Service (VIS) Message Manager for business customers, waiving the service charge for initial activations between 7 August and 31 December 1997.

In light of the foregoing, the Commission orders that:

The proposed tariff revisions to become effective on 7 August 1997 are approved on an interim basis.
