On 15 May 1997, BC TEL filed an ex parte application under Tariff Notice 3630, amended by Tariff Notice 3630A dated 22 May 1997, for approval of tariff revisions to its General Tariff, introducing Item 271, Welcome 20% Rebate Promotion.

1. The proposed tariff revisions were approved on an interim basis on 29 May 1997 under Telecom Order CRTC 97-714.

2. The Commission received no comments with respect to this application.

3. In light of the foregoing, the Commission orders that:
