Telecom Order CRTC 97-225
IN THE MATTER OF an application by Toronto Telecom Co. (Toronto Telecom) dated 27 November 1996, requesting an exemption from contribution charges for certain Centrex and business line services used for administrative purposes.
Reference: 96-2494
WHEREAS in support of its application, Toronto Telecom provided an affidavit dated 12 November 1996 affirming that the services in question are used solely for administrative use;
WHEREAS by letter dated 6 February 1997, Bell Canada (Bell) noted that the number of services involved is reasonable, and that the affidavit satisfies the evidentiary requirements in support of such an exemption, and accordingly agreed with the requested exemption; and
WHEREAS the Commission is of the view that Toronto Telecom has met the Commission's evidentiary requirements with respect to administrative circuits as set out in Applications for Contribution Exemptions, Telecom Decision CRTC 93-2, 1 April 1993 and notes that Bell has agreed with the exemption -
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED THAT:
Toronto Telecom's application is approved effective the date of installation.
