Public Notice

Ottawa, 7 January 1997
Public Notice CRTC 1997-1
The Commission has received the following application:
ONTARIO REGION
NOTICE
1. BURLINGTON, Ontario
Application (199607826) by BURLINGTON BROADCASTING INC. to amend the (radio) programming undertaking licence of CING-FM by decreasing the effective radiated power from 50,000 to 26,100 watts. The reduction in radiated power is coupled with an increase in the effective height of the transmitting antenna. As a consequence there will be no significant change in the authorized service area.
The licensee also proposes to relocate the transmission facilities at a site 8 km to the north-west of Burlington.
The licensee states that the proposed changes should result in a reduction of interference to aeronautical NAV/COM services.
