Application (199700034) by the ASSOCIATION CANADIENNE-FRANÇAISE DE L'ALBERTA - RÉGIONALE DE RIVIÈRE-LA-PAIX, P.O. Box 718, Falher, Alberta, T0H 1M0, to amend the broadcasting licence of the (radio) programming undertaking CKRP-FM Falher, by changing the frequency of its retransmitter CKRP-FM-2 Peace River, from 95.7 MHz to 90.3 MHz.
This proposed change in frequency is to solve interference problems experienced by CKRP-FM-2.

Application (199700266) by the CANADIAN BROADCASTING CORPORATION to amend the broadcasting licence of the (radiocommunication) distribution undertaking (CBCY-TV-1) serving Burns Lake, by increasing the effective radiated power of the transmitter from 155.7 to 311 watts.
The licensee has indicated that the increase in power will alleviate hydro power line noise interference.

Application (199701397) by STAR-FM RADIO INC., P.O. Box 386, Chilliwack, British Columbia, V2P 6J7, to amend the broadcasting licence of the (radio) programming undertaking CKSR-FM Chilliwack, by changing the frequency of its transmitter CFSR-FM Abbotsford, from 104.9 MHz (channel 285A) to 92.5 MHz (channel 223A).
The proposed change in frequency is designed to improve the quality of the signal.

Application (199611653) by THE PEACHLAND COMMUNICATIONS SOCIETY, P.O. Box 396, Peachland, British Columbia, V0H 1X0, to amend the broadcasting licence of the (radiocommunication) distribution undertaking serving Peachland, by adding a low power radio transmitter, operating on a frequency of 99.1 MHz (channel 256A1) with an effective radiated power of 50 watts to provide, in non-encrypted mode, the programming service of the CBC-FM English-language Radio Network.

In the event that the application is brought to the oral phase of a hearing it would be helpful to the Commission if you would provide reasons why your written comments are not sufficient and an appearance is necessary;
Your intervention will be considered by the Commission, and will form part of the public record of the proceeding without further notification to you, provided the procedure set out above has been followed. You will be contacted only if your submission raises procedural questions.
