Telecom Order CRTC 98-1209
On 29 October 1998, Island Telecom Inc. filed an application for approval of tariff revisions to General Tariff Items 698 and 699, to introduce two new optional features for Centrex subscribers, namely, Music on Hold, which provides music on hold to customers when the customer is waiting for his/her call to be answered while on hold, and Select Ring, which enables a customer to have one primary telephone number and up to three secondary telephone numbers by applying a distinctive or coded ringing when a call is received to allow the customer to identify which number is being called.

In light of the foregoing, the Commission orders that:
The proposed tariff revisions to become effective on 8 February 1999 are approved.
