Telecom Order CRTC 98-438
On 15 April 1998, The New Brunswick Telephone Company, Limited filed an application for approval of tariff revisions to General Tariff Item 801.4, Contribution Charges, to recover the Carrier Access Tariff charges associated with an alternate provider of long distance service's competitive traffic which terminates in or originates from independent company territories.

In light of the foregoing, the Commission orders that:
a) The proposed tariff revisions are approved on an interim basis effective the date of this Order.
b) The request of the company to apply the proposed tariff revisions on a retroactive basis will be considered by the Commission at a later date.
