Telecom Order

Ottawa, 20 May 1998
Telecom Order CRTC 98-492
On 8 April 1998, The New Brunswick Telephone Company, Limited (NBTel) filed an ex parte application under Tariff Notice (TN) 711, as amended by TN 711A dated 20 April 1998, for approval of tariff revisions.
File No.: Tariff Notice 711
1. The Commission notes that NBTel's application involves issues which are the subject of a proceeding initiated pursuant to Joint Marketing and Bundling, Telecom Decision CRTC 98-4, 24 March 1998. Given that the record of that proceeding is not yet complete, the Commission is of the view that it would not be appropriate to approve NBTel's application. A determination in that proceeding will be released at a future date.
2. In light of the foregoing, the Commission orders that:
TNs 711 and 711A are denied. The company is directed to provide an abridged copy of the application for the public record in all relevant public examination rooms within two business days.
