Telecom Order CRTC 98-808
On 24 March 1998, Sogetel inc.(Sogetel) filed an application further to Telecom Decision CRTC 97-19 (Decision 97-19) to delete provisions from its General Tariff covering the services for which forbearance was granted.
File No.: Tariff Notice 70
1.Sogetel proposed, among other things, to delete tariff provisions related to Advantage 900 Service.
2.Sogetel also proposed to remove tariff provisions related to operator services, including long distance directory assistance service.
3.The Commission finds that Decision 97-19 does not extend to Advantage 900 Service and to operator services and that these services should accordingly remain in Sogetel's General Tariff.
4.In light of the foregoing, the Commission orders that:
(a) The proposed tariff revisions are approved effective the date of this Order, except for those provisions related to Advantage 900 Service (Item 4.2.10) and complementary toll services (Item 4.13) which are to remain in the company's General Tariff.
(b) Sogetel is directed to issue revised tariff pages within 30 days of the date of this Order.
