TELECOMMUNICATIONS FEES

The Telecommunications Fees Regulations,
1995, SOR/95-157, 23 March 1995 (the Regulations), provide for the
payment of annual telecommunications fees by certain Canadian carriers.
Section 4 of the Regulations sets out the formula for the calculation of
the telecommunications fees. |

As contemplated by section 4 of the
Regulations, the Commission hereby publishes: |
| |
(1) the amount to be recovered
through telecommunications fees due 15 June 1998: $17.18 million; and |
| |
(2) the aggregate of operating
revenues: $16.33 billion. |
