Licence renewal for "Rock Radio Network"
|
|
1. The Commission renews the broadcasting licence for the English-language radio network known as "Rock Radio Network" from 1 September 1999 to 31 August 2006, subject to the same conditions as those in effect under the current licence, which will be reiterated in the licence to be issued.

2. This network distributes regular special feature programming such as music, information and sports (including Toronto Maple Leafs hockey broadcasts), originating from CILQ-FM North York.
|
|
3. The Commission reminds the affiliated stations that they retain complete responsibility for their entire program schedule and that they are required to include the material broadcast during network programs when determining compliance with the Commission's regulations and policies.
|
|
4. Any affiliate of the CBC carrying game broadcasts must ensure that its network affiliation agreement is respected, and that any rescheduling of CBC programs affected by the broadcasts in question is acceptable to the CBC.
|
|
5. The Commission acknowledges the intervention submitted with respect to this application as well as the licensee's reply to the intervention.
