On 14 September 1999, Telesat Canada (Telesat) filed a contract for approval of a modification to an existing service between Telesat and a U.S. satellite operator to provide partial channel space segment service. |

In light of the foregoing, the Commission orders that: |

|
The application is approved. Pursuant to subsection 25(4) of the Telecommunications Act, the rates charged by Telesat are ratified from 1 September 1999 to the date of this Order. |
