Telecom Order CRTC 99-381

 

On 29 January 1999, Bell Canada filed an application for approval of tariff revisions to General Tariff Item 24 and Access Services Tariff Items 20 and 50, proposing a definition of a Competitive Pay Telephone Service Provider (CPTSP) and a clarification of the contribution exempt status for access lines used by CPTSPs for the provision of pay telephone service.

In light of the foregoing, the Commission orders that:

 

The proposed tariff revisions are approved with the following wording to be added to the section dealing with contribution exemptions: "An application to the Commission for a contribution exemption is not required."
