On 29 July 1999, BC TEL filed an application for approval of revisions to General Tariff Item 32, Exchange Rates, introducing the Additional Residential Line Promotion which provides residential customers who subscribe to additional individual lines with a $50.00 gift certificate for their choice of either a gas station company or a music store retail outlet selected by the Company, from 16 August to 31 December 1999. |

In light of the foregoing, the Commission orders that: |

The proposed tariff revisions to become effective on 16 August 1999 are approved on an interim basis. |
