Telecom Order CRTC 99-993

 

On 9 September 1999, Bell Canada filed an application for approval of revisions to General Tariff Item 2030, providing for the enhanced capabilities of the Universal Messaging system. The enhancement will provide "non-real" time communication within compatible voice messaging systems worldwide and will enable residential, business and Centrex mailbox subscribers to send, reply and broadcast voice messages to and from NON-mailbox subscribers.

In light of the foregoing, the Commission orders that:

 

The application is approved effective the date of this Order.
