Licence amendment for CFNS-FM

1.

The Commission approves the application to amend the broadcasting licence for the radio programming undertaking CFNS-FM, by replacing the condition of licence prohibiting the broadcast of advertising material with the following:

The licensee is authorized, by condition of licence, to broadcast a maximum of six minutes per clock hour of advertising material.

The applicant indicated that the advertising revenues would be used to support the tourist information radio service provided by CFNS-FM.
