Acquisition of assets

1.

The Commission approves the applications for authority to acquire the assets of the radiocommunication distribution undertakings serving Likely and Moorehead, from Likely Communications Society, and for broadcasting licences to continue the operation of these undertakings.

2.

The Commission will issue licences to Likely Community School Association, expiring 31 August 2007, upon surrender of the current licences. The licences will be subject to the conditions specified in the licences to be issued.

3.

The licensee is authorized to distribute, in non-encrypted mode, the programming service of the Open Learning Agency (Knowledge Network) on channel 7 at Moorehead and channel 12 at Likely, each with a transmitter power of 10 watts.

4.

The Commission acknowledges the interventions received in support of this application.
