ADSL access to individual line service

1.

The Commission approves TCI's request to permit the availability of Asymmetrical Digital Subcriber Line (ADSL) Access to Individual Line Service on individual lines that are subscribed to by a reseller, when the reseller consents to an ADSL service provider providing ADSL service to the end-user of the individual lines. The Commission also approves the revised Letters of Authorization filed on 11 July 2000 with the following changes:
Delete from the second last paragraph of each Letter the words "even if TELUS knew or should have known of the possibility of such damages occurring" and delete the last paragraph of each Letter.

TCI filed Tariff Notice 217 on 14 April 2000 to revise Item 260.3 of its Carrier Access Tariff.

These revisions take effect on the date of this order.
