Applications (200017716, 200017477) by CANADIAN SATELLITE COMMUNICATIONS INC. (CANCOM) and SC SRDU SERVICES INC., formerly Star Choice Television Network Incorporated (Star Choice).
These applications are requests to amend the broadcasting licences of their national satellite relay distribution undertakings by adding the television signal of CJOH-TV (CTV) to the list of signals that each of these undertakings is authorized to distribute.
CANCOM has also requested that the Part 3 List of Eligible Satellite Services be amended to reflect the addition of the signal of CJOH-TV (CTV) Ottawa/Hull.

LA BAIE, Quebec
Application (200003708) by the CANADIAN BROADCASTING CORPORATION (CBC).
The CBC proposes to add an FM radio transmitter at La Baie to provide the programs of CBJ-FM Chicoutimi, Quebec (CBC’s network "La Première Chaîne") in order to fill the void of this direct signal downtown.
The proposed transmitter would operate on frequency 93.7 MHz (channel 229LP) with an effective radiated power of 8.9 watts.
The addition of the transmitter will require an amendment to the licence for CBJ-FM.

LETHBRIDGE, Alberta
Application (200005407) by ROGERS BROADCASTING LIMITED (Rogers), 36 Victoria Street, Toronto, Ontario, M5C 1H3.
This application is a request to amend the broadcasting licence of radio station CFRV-FM Lethbridge. Rogers proposes to relocate its transmitter to a site 17.6 kilometres east of the existing location.
This amendment will result in a small reduction in coverage to the west and a fairly significant increase in coverage to the east.
