The transmitter will operate on frequency 91.1 MHz (channel 216A) with an effective radiated power of 3,000 watts. The addition of the transmitter will require an amendment to the licence for CBN-FM.

The applicant proposes to use the existing 67 KHz Subsidiary Communications Multiplex Operations (SCMO) channel for the purpose of distributing a Punjabi-language service to replace the defunct Korean-language service.
