The Commission has received the following applications from licensees of cable distribution undertakings and radiocommunication distribution undertakings to amend their respective broadcasting licences as follows: |

At least 75% of these local availabilities must be made available for use by licensed Canadian programming services for the promotion of their respective services, for the promotion of the community channel and for unpaid Canadian public service announcements. A maximum of 25% of the local availabilities may be made available for the promotion of discretionary programming services and packages, customer service information, channel realignments, cable FM service and additional cable outlets.

- Internet access is available in many Nova Scotia communities through Community Access sites located in schools, libraries or community centres. - the licensees are also willing to provide a copy of the applications in hard copy by regular mail to any subscriber who makes such a request by calling its toll free number (1-888-345-1111); |

|
- the licensees will carry a "scroll" message on the bottom of "News Direct", a non-programming service, indicating that the applications have been filed and hard copies can be obtained by calling the toll free number noted above. |

- submit your original written intervention to the Secretary General of the Commission (CRTC, Ottawa, K1A 0N2). A true copy MUST be sent to the applicant and proof that this has been done must accompany the original intervention sent to the Commission. |

Each paragraph of the document should be numbered. - please note, that only the documents (applications and interventions) electronically filed will be available on the Commission’s web site. You will be able to access these documents by indicating the public notice or the notice of public hearing number; |

- the intervention must be received by the CRTC and by the applicant ON OR BEFORE the deadline date indicated below. The Commission cannot be held responsible for postal delays; |

- your intervention should clearly identify the application and indicate whether you support or oppose the application, or if you propose changes to it, include the facts and grounds therefor.
