Bipolar Eight Zero Substitution (B8ZS)
The Commission approves TCBC's request to:
  • introduce a consolidated B8ZS option in the General Tariff with a one-time service charge of $100 per B8ZS coded signal option for customers who request B8ZS with the associated access, or $600 per B8ZS coded signal option if requested after the associated access service is already in place; and
  • withdraw the existing B8ZS options and monthly rates from the Special Assembly Tariff.
TCBC filed the application on 5 September 2000 to revise Item 447 of its General Tariff and Item 297 of its Special Assembly Tariff.
The revisions take effect on the date of this order.
