Re: Application No. 2001-0466-2 - Approval
Extension of time limit to 26 October 2001
CKDX-FM Newmarket, Ontario

This is further to your application dated 29 March 2001 on behalf and at the request of 109364 Ontario Limited licensee of CKDX-FM Newmarket, Ontario, for a 2nd time extension to implement a power increase for CKDX-FM approved 26 October 1999 in Decision 99-479. The first request for extension was approved in Approval No. A00-00108 and scheduled to expire 26 April 2001.

We are pleased to inform you that the Commission has given its approval to the aforementioned, and, as requested, approves a further 6-month extension to complete the implementation of the new antenna and transmitter, to 26 October 2001.

Should CKDX-FM's construction not be completed within the six-month period stipulated in this letter or, should the Commission refuse to approve an extension requested by the licensee, the authority granted shall lapse and become null and void upon expiry of the period of time granted herein or upon the termination of the last approved extension period.

In order that the Commission's files be kept up-to-date, you are required to advise the Commission of the actual date of implementing these changes.

All letters of approval issued by the Commission are made available for public examination at the Commission's central office. The Commission requires you to append this letter of approval and the associated service area maps to the licences of your undertaking.

Yours sincerely,

Ursula Menke
Secretary General
