a) to distribute a second set of 4+1 U.S. network signals which will be selected from the List of Part 3 Eligible Satellite Services; 4+1 means four (4) U.S. commercial network signals (CBS, NBC, ABC, FOX) and one (1) U.S. non-commercial network signal (PBS); and

 

b) to distribute any of the Canadian signals included on the List of Part 3 Eligible Satellite Services. These Canadian stations are those which can presently be distributed by Class 3 cable systems.

 

The licensee has stated in its applications that these services would be offered on a discretionary basis and as part of their digital service offering.

 

The licensee has also stated that it would accept a provision of approval similar to the provision set out in Decision CRTC 2000-437.

Your intervention will be considered by the Commission, and will form part of the public record of the proceeding without further notification to you, provided the procedure set out below has been followed. You will be contacted only if your submission raises procedural questions.
