Telecommunications fees

The Telecommunications Fees Regulations, 1995, SOR/95-157, dated 23 March 1995 (the 1995 Regulations), provide for the payment of annual telecommunications fees by certain Canadian carriers. Section 4 of the 1995 Regulations sets out the formula for the calculation of the telecommunications fees.

As contemplated by section 4 of the 1995 Regulations, the Commission hereby publishes:

(1) the amount to be recovered through telecommunications fees due 12 July 2001: $19.061 million; and

(2) the aggregate of operating revenues at this time for companies subject to CRTC telecommunications fees: $20.76 billion.
