Decision CRTC 2001-683

Ottawa, 9 November 2001

Mr. Roger de Brabant
1158556 Ontario Ltd.
226 Delnite Road
Timmins, Ontario
P4N 7C2

Dear Mr. de Brabant:

Re: Application 2001-1139-4 - Approval
Extension of time limit
1158556 Ontario Ltd. - New FM transmitter at Red Deer, Alberta

We are pleased to inform you that the Commission approves your request for an extension of time limit to implement the new FM transmitter of CHIM-FM Timmins, Ontario at Red Deer, Alberta.

The Commission grants a six month extension of time limit, namely until 7 April 2002.

This extension does not of course, relieve you of your responsibility to implement the authority to operate the radio FM transmitter at Red Deer at the earliest possible date.

Should the completion of new installations not be completed within the period stipulated in this letter or, should the Commission refuse to approve an extension requested by the licensee, the licence will not be amended.

As stipulated in the approval decision, the authority will only be effective and the licence will only be amended when the new facilities are constructed and ready to begin operation. Consequently, the applicant is required to advise the Commission, in writing, once it has completed construction and is prepared to commence operation of the undertaking, at which time, the Commission will amend the licence.

The Commission requires you to append this decisionto the licence of your undertaking.

Sincerely,

Ursula Menke
Secretary General
