Ottawa, 8 February 2002

Rogers Cable Inc.
Across Canada

Application 2001-1386-1

Extension of time limit to implement a new national video-on-demand television service

1.

The Commission approves the application by Rogers Cable Inc. for an extension of the time limit to implement the national video-on-demand television service granted by Decision CRTC 2000-735 dated 24 November 2000.

2.

The Commission grants the licensee an additional 12 months, until 14 December 2002, to implement the new service.

3.

The licensee's failure to meet this new implementation deadline will cause this authority to become null and void, unless a request for a further extension of time is approved by the Commission before such date.

4.

Once the licensee has informed the Commission in writing that it is prepared to commence operation, the licence for this undertaking will be issued.
