Broadcasting Decision CRTC 2002-28

Ottawa, 12 February 2002

CHUM Limited / CHUM Limitée
Windsor, Ontario

Applications 2001-1399-4, 2001-1400-2, 2001-1401-7 and 2001-1402-5

Extension of time limit to implement new transitional digital radio programming undertakings

1.

The Commission approves the applications by CHUM Limited / CHUM Limitée for an extension of the time limit to implement its authority for new transitional digital radio programming undertakings at Windsor, granted by Decision CRTC 2000-83 dated 22 March 2000.

2.

The Commission grants the licensee an additional 9 months, until 21 June 2002, to implement this authority.

3.

The licensee's failure to meet this new implementation deadline will cause this authority to become null and void, unless a request for a further extension of time is approved by the Commission before such date.

4.

Once the licensee has informed the Commission in writing that it is prepared to commence operation, the licences for these undertakings will be issued.
