Broadcasting Decision CRTC 2002-64

Ottawa, 4 March 2002

Standard Radio Inc.
Calgary, Alberta

Application 2002-0113-7

Extension of time limit to implement a new radio programming undertaking

1.

The Commission approves the application by Standard Radio Inc. for an extension of the time limit to commence operation of a radio programming undertaking at Calgary, granted by Decision CRTC 2001-172 dated 12 March 2001.

2.

The Commission grants the licensee an additional period of time, until 31 December 2002, to implement this authority.

3.

The licensee's failure to meet this new implementation deadline will cause the authority to become null and void, unless a request for a further extension of time is approved by the Commission before this date.

4.

Once the licensee has informed the Commission in writing that it is prepared to commence operations, the licence for this undertaking will be issued.
