SmartTouch services promotion

1.

The Commission received an application by TELUS Communications (Québec) Inc. (TELUS Québec), dated 22 May 2002, to revise General Tariff item 2.20.03, SmartTouch Services, in order to introduce a promotion for local business service subscribers from 8 July 2002 to 31 December 2002.

TELUS Québec proposed that during this promotion, all local business customers that sign a 12-month contract for Centrex service would receive voice messaging service free of charge for the duration of the contract.

The Commission received no comments with respect to the application.

4.

The Commission approves TELUS Québec's application.

5.

TELUS Québec is to issue forthwith revised tariff pages reflecting this decision effective upon the date of filing.
