SmartTouch services promotion

1.

The Commission received an application by TELUS Communications (Québec) Inc. (TELUS Québec), dated 22 July 2002, to revise General Tariff item 2.20.03, SmartTouch Services, in order to introduce a promotion for local residential customers from 11 November 2002 to 5 January 2003.

TELUS Québec proposed that during this promotion, customers subscribing to the Mini-Voice Messaging optional service would receive the service at a monthly rate of $1.95 for the first three months and those subscribing to the Voice Messaging optional service, at a monthly rate of $2.75 for the first three months.

The Commission received no comment with respect to the application.

4.

The Commission approves TELUS Québec's application.
