Bell Canada

Winback promotion

1.

The Commission received an application by Bell Canada, dated 22 October 2002, to revise General Tariff item 70.2, Rate Schedules for Primary Exchange (Local) Service, in order to introduce a promotion to win back business customers from 21 November 2002 to 30 April 2003.

In its application, Bell Canada proposed to waive the service connection charge associated with the installation of business individual line service for customers located in exchange rate bands A, B, C and D who return to Bell Canada from an alternate provider of local exchange services.

3.

The Commission received no comments with respect to the application.

4.

The Commission approves Bell Canada's application.

5.

Bell Canada is to issue revised tariff pages forthwith reflecting this decision effective on the date of issuance.
