Extension of deadlines for the submission of comments

In Broadcasting Public Notice CRTC 2002-57, 4 October 2002, the Commission announced that it had received an application by Bell ExpressVu Inc., the general partner, and BCE Inc., the limited partner, doing business under the name Bell ExpressVu Limited Partnership (Bell ExpressVu), for a licence amendment granting temporary relief from conditions of licence on simultaneous and non-simultaneous deletion of programming.

The Commission established a three phase process for filing written comments on issues related to the application, with initial comments from Bell ExpressVu and the Canadian Association of Broadcasters (CAB) to be filed by 25 October 2002, comments from the public to be filed by 2 December 2002, and reply comments from Bell ExpressVu and the CAB to be filed by 20 December 2002.

At the request of Bell ExpressVu and the CAB, the Commission extends the deadline for the filing of initial comments by Bell ExpressVu and the CAB to 1 November 2002, and the deadline for the filing of comments from the public to 9 December 2002. The deadline for the filing of reply comments from Bell ExpressVu and the CAB will remain 20 December 2002.
