Dear Ms. Duffy-Maclean:

Re: Annual Independent Production Report Pursuant to Decision CRTC 2001-457

This is to advise that the Commission accepts CTV's Independent Production Activity Report for the 2001/2002 Broadcast Year, filed 17 December 2002 pursuant to Licence renewals for the television stations controlled by CTV, Decision CRTC 2000-747, 2 August 2001.

This is also to advise that the Commission grants your request to treat as confidential, the production budget and licence fee information for individual projects, and "Other Broadcaster Contributions".

However, the Commission does not consider it in the public interest to treat the regional aggregates of production budgets and licence fees contained in this report as confidential, and will therefore include this in the information placed on CTV's public examination file.

Sincerely,

Diane Rhéaume
A/Secretary General
